Did you know that making beer in your home is possible? I’d always thought that you needed a great big factory to be able to make beer. It turns out you don’t need anything all that fancy. All you need are a few cheap ingredients and then you can create your own.
On top of it being a possibility, it’s also entirely legal. I mean, unless you live in Alabama. I guess in Alabama it is still illegal to do it. So, if you don’t live in Alabama you should be alright. You should still check with the police just to make sure. Just don’t call their emergency number, because no matter how much you want a drink, this is not an emergency.
So, once you realize that home beer making is legal and possible, you’ll probably start trying to do it. Well, good luck getting it done without knowing what the ingredients are. Just because you know what it tastes like doesn’t mean you’re going to be able to make it yourself. If you could do that, then you’d be some sort of tasting genius. Chances are you aren’t one of those. Chances are you’re going to need a recipe. It’s a good thing that the internet is filled with those kinds of recipes. So, you’ll be able to take part in some home beer making in no time.
Home beer making is a little dangerous. Oh, and it’s also illegal if you’re under 21. So, if you’re a kid, don’t even think about making this stuff. You’ll be behind bars before it’s even done with its first stage of fermenting. I’m not too worried about kids doing this, anyway. It takes a lot of patience to excel at home beer making. Kids don’t have what it takes to wait for the stuff to finish. They’d probably drink the stuff right after they mixed it together. Oh, I bet that would taste pretty bad.
So, if you aren’t a kid and you have a recipe, then you’re ready to start. All you have to do now is go out to the store and buy all the stuff you need. That is unless you live on a farm where all that stuff is growing in your backyard. If you thought this was going to be free, then you were crazy. It might cheaper than buying the stuff, but you’re still going to have to invest some money. Home beer making isn’t free.
After you’ve finished making it, you might want to give some away. You’ll have a lot of beer on your hands. Don’t try to drink it all. You’ll turn yourself into a drunken fool. Home beer making is fun, but it really churns out a lot alcohol. Oh yeah, beer has alcohol in it. So, if you don’t like alcohol then you shouldn’t do any home beer making.
